So it's happened y'all. I've finally moved into university. It's an odd feeling, but I'm excited. It's weird saying it, but I think I'm ready for all this. I'm only 17, stand at a whopping 5'3", extremely baby faced, but I'm taking the world on!
(We won't even discuss the fact that the title, and picture are lyrics from a Hannah Montana Song)
On the day I was leaving my friend Chan told me, "Have a great time and don't hold on to what you have down here." She was talking about Jamaica, and when she'd said that I'd been thinking that SAME thing for so many months. About letting go. It's a hard thing for a lot of people to do, but it's so necessary to moving on and living the best life you possibly can.
You have to move on from situations, not because they are necessarily bad, just simply stale and old. Doing new things with new people and keeping the ball rolling isn't a bad thing. If you're feeling stuck, move forward from something you feel like you've just been putting too much time into.
It's time this birdie left her nest, and flew.
I've still got a lot to learn, and I hope a lot of adventures to go on. & quite frankly I'm excited about blogging all these adventures too. :)
Here we are now, everything's about to change. We face tomorrow, as we say goodbye to yesterday. A chapter ending but the stories only just begun, the page is turning for everyone. So I'm moving on, letting go holding on to tomorrow. I've always got the memories while I'm finding who I'm gunna be. We might be apart but I hope you always know you'll be with me wherever I go. - Miley Cyrus (stop judging me).
P.S. Would it be cheesy to add a little thank you to you all? All your wonderful comments & kind words of encouragement really do mean the world to me & I love reading them! I can't wait to share more with you all!
